Anoushka Moucessian (she/her) is a Health Promotion Specialist at the South East Health Unit and an experienced researcher specializing in mental health/education, health equity, program planning and evaluation. Holding a PhD in Health Promotion, she brings over 11 years of research expertise, complemented by an equally extensive tenure in mental health and public health fields.
Anoushka excels at bridging the gap between research and practice, seamlessly integrating academic insights with real-world application. She collaborates with health and social service organizations to design and implement evidence-based programs and evaluation frameworks that drive measurable impact. She facilitates strategic partnerships across sectors to enhance community well-being and advance social change.
With a passion for storytelling and a solution-focused orientation, Anoushka works with individuals, communities, and organizations to identify challenges and co-create transformative solutions. Whether coaching thousands of community members through critical life transitions or co-developing health communications campaigns with marginalized communities to challenge systemic inequities, she brings a dynamic and empowering approach to her work.
Her commitment to data-driven decision-making is evident in her development of comprehensive reports that provide organizations with the critical insights needed to craft responsive, effective, and sustainable programs and policies. Through her expertise in research translation, strategic planning, and community engagement, Anoushka plays a pivotal role in shaping initiatives that foster long-term social impact.
